Get Your Home Ready - Spring is Coming!

Curb appeal is more than just what your home looks like from the outside. It incorporates the whole vision from the outside, the landscaping, exterior color and driveway. Here are 4 projects that can give your home a little panazz!.

Neat and tidy landscaping can be as easy as mowing your lawn and watering and feeding it on a regular basis. Smarten your bushes with a bit of pruning, and plant a few nice bright flowers.

As your home ages it will start to look worn! Bit like ourselves lol. But its always a good idea to touch up the paint and stucco if you have it. The frame around the garage door can always look run down and is worth a lick of paint. If you have siding it can warp, but most times it is an easy fix.

On the first nice day grab some sandpaper and smooth over peeling paint and paint chips. Once this is accomplished, apply primer and paint for a brand spanking-new exterior.

Roofs and Gutters

Your gutters are easy to overlook or even ignore entirely. This may be a problem,  awesome curb appeal is attained through meticulous attention to just these types of details.

Check no water is getting into your home. It might be worth your time (and money) to have a roofing expert take a look and give you some advice. Remember he is probably better on a ladder than you! But maybe there are small improvements you can make yourself.

A fence does more than just protect your lawn from the neighbor's dog's leavings. It impacts your home's curb appeal as much as your landscaping or exterior color scheme.

Unless you plan to replace or remove your entire fence, doing some simple stuff, like adding a fresh coat of paint, power wash it or use some of the Windex outside cleaner and hose off the dirst and grime. This can give you significant results in a relatively short time.

Finally, it is always good to take a moment and look at your home from the opposite curb. That's right, actually go outside and try to see it with the critical eye of a potential homebuyer. Your neighbors may wonder what your doing and call the cops, but take your time; put a critical eye over everything. This will open your eyes to the obvious places to start your home improvements. A little time, effort and a small; amount of money can save you issues in the long run.

Then Chill!
